I saved a moth this morning. Well, rather, there was a moth in our office and I caught it and released it outside. So far, this has been the highlight of my day/morning. I absolutely adore moths and butterflies. My order of cecropia moths shipped yesterday and should arrive tomorrow. I am beyond excited to be a moth mama!
On that same topic, there was a poor Question Mark butterfly that I found in the parking lot of my apartment complex over the weekend. The wings had been chewed to shit and it was missing many scales on one side. The poor thing was definitely at the end of its life cycle. I brought it inside and fed it. It passed last night. Poor thing.
Still feeling a bit groggy. I'm curious if this is because of one of the medications I am taking? I can't tell if it is stress related or medicine related. I will give it some time before I stop taking the antihistamine again. It's really hard to get a good "control" study on what makes me feel off-balance.
We got our final numbers last night and I overnighted the papers to my bank. Guaranteed delivery of today by 10:30am PST. I really hope that they process the request today! I want Friday to happen without a problem.
We have a fun weekend planned ahead of us. I am going to play games with some awesome people Friday night, and then we are heading to Kansas City for a convention. I can't wait to hang out with our friends and check out a place I have never been. Although, I am admittedly feeling a bit overwhelmed and I currently have no interest in making a two hour drive.
I was smart today. The office is cold all of the time, so I brought my heating pad in. It is saving my life right now!
I can't wait until I know for sure what is going on with closing on Friday. I suspect that I will feel a lot better and less stressed out once we get through this last milestone. For now, I just watch this tracking information like a hawk.
I know I said that the heating pad was saving my life right now, but I am suddenly freezing my butt off! Looks like I need to bring some blankets! haha!
I'll try not to die of hypothermia in the office today so I can update again tomorrow. =P
